My mom, my older sister and me were staying in Avignon for vacation. I planned our tour and talked Laurent from Provence private tour. He gave me superb tips about the tour. As soon as we decided on the date, he sent me the contact details of the guide. We did our daily tour in September. One day before the tour, I called the guide just to be sure and he said he’d come to our hotel. The next day we met in the hotel lobby.

We went to L’Isle sur Sorgue, the first point of our tour. The village itself was so authentic and beautiful with its canal, water wheels. But I think we impressed so much by the town’s huge market. One of the best market we’ve ever been to.There are many provencal products-olives, lavender products, colourful soaps or olive oil, cheese, fresh veg and fruit, flowers, wood products, pottery, high quality clothing etc. I mean, You can find whatever you want! The quality of the products we bought were great. Prices were also reasonable. It was really perfect and very lively atmosphere. We really enjoyed exploring this market. The village is also famous for its antique shops. There are some nice shops.
Our guide was Bernard, he was a super guide, he helped us so much and thanks to him we had a great day. He also helped my French. I just know a few words, but I think after this tour I’ll start my French class again. Because Bernard encouraged me about the language!
We had our lunch in this lovely village. Then we went to Fontaine de vaucluse.
La Fontaine de Vaucluse was a great place, it was small and peaceful. Here is the source of the River Sorgue. Town is nice, but the water is the main attraction. The spring of the Sorgue river was amazing, it’s very nice place to take some pictures.
It was a perfect day for us. We enjoyed every minute of our tour.We would strongly recommend it.
    Thank you! Merci beaucoup!

We spent three fantastic days with our guide Romain showing us around Provence. We first went to Arles where we visited the amphitheater, the night cafe, hospital and then the asylum at St Remy. Along the way Romain continually explained the impact and importance to Van Gogh of these locations. We also visited St Remy, the Pont du Gard and the Luberon. As a guide, Romain was knowledgeable, fun and extremely easy to get along with. Nothing was too much trouble and if we wanted to spend more time in one location, Romain was more than happy to accommodate our wishes. We highly recommend Romain as a guide and this tour company.

We took this excursion from our Princess ship docking in Marseille. It was cheaper than the cruise excursion for our small group. Also the minivan is driving faster than the bus and it is enjoyable not to be part of a huge group.
Our guide was Sylvie. She was great, experienced, very professional and spoke a great English.
We had a very nice day and we recommend this tour company.
