    We booked a tour in Lyon and had a very nice experience with our guide Romain. We met in front of the cathedral and spend 4 hours discovering. The funicular experience to reach the hill of Fourviere was a must.

    We would recommend Romain to anyone visiting Lyon

    Romain was a delight!
    He was so knowledgeable, funny and excellent. He even took me place that tourists usually miss but are at the heart of Lyon’s story.
    Romain also gave me restaurant recommendations which was super helpful and he was spot on.
    I can’t recommend him or this tour more highly!

    Romain was the best guide we have had during our entire trip to France.
    He was knowledgable, friendly, and allowed us to go at our own pace.
    If you are seniors, I would highly recommend you let him guide you through Lyon.

  13. Walking tour of Lyon –

    During a recent trip to Lyon, my husband and I did a walking tour with Romain as our guide.
    It was the perfect way to learn about the interesting history of this gastronomical capital of France, and we would highly recommend it!

    We saw beautiful sites, interesting locations and hidden gems, all while walking along the cobblestone streets in the bright sunshine.
    Romain gave us the perfect amount of information and history about Lyon, and as he was very pleasant, punctual and obviously knew Lyon very well, we would also highly recommend him as a tour guide!

    Romain was an amazing tour guide of the private tour of Lyon.
    He had a vast knowledge of the town of Lyon and even showed my husband to get the best France soap to take back to our friends in the US.
    My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to tour the lovely town of Lyon.

  16. Trip around Lyon… –

    We had an awesome trip around Lyon thanks to Romain.
    We learned a lot of the history of the city, arkitettura, art, food and culture. He took us from our apartment in Croix Rousse over to Fourviere Hill and Old Lyon. We had many conversations about not only what we were scheduled to see but also the city over different points in history.
    It was all very interesting and informative. Romain also gave us many recommendations to good places to eat after our tour and had a very nice meal. Thank you Romain!

    Roman was a wonderful tour guide!
    We were a family of 15 traveling with 7 children and fun was had by all.
    Roman was very patient, infurmati, and accommodating. He was quick to point out restaurant recommendations and other places to explore at the end of the tour.

  19. Wonderful Lyon introduction! –

    We highly recommend this tour with Romain.

    We took the tour the day we arrived in Lyon to get an overview of the city so that we can explore on our own the next few days.

    Romain was extremely knowledgeable about the city as well as historical events which shaped the city and its culture. He was also a very nice guy!

    If we didn’t take this tour, I don’t think we would appreciate the city as much as we do now.

    We are now armed with a whole list of things to do and restaurants to go to.

    Romain was a fabulous guide – extremely knowledgeable, especially about local and art history – and a marvelous teacher.

    I have never learned more in such a short period of time, nor enjoyed learning so much. He is enthusiastic, ingenuous, personable and a kind, decent person.

    Roman was an excellent guide and took us through Lyon with a lot of knowledge of the area.

    He was very good with my 11 year old son and four year old daughter.

    We had a great time and he showed us an amazing brioche spot!
